I fear there are bad things in store for my precious Scira. But let’s not think about that.
Let’s think about Scott as a Dom in a D/s verse. He gets mistaken for a sub all the time, because he’s so sweet and laid back and just wants to make people happy, but he’s a Dom. And he doesn’t really have an outlet for it, because he doesn’t want the things that other Doms tend to want. He doesn’t want to make anyone do anything, even consensually. He wants someone who’ll do what he says because they want to, because they just trust him so much. He wants to take care of someone, to comfort them and coddle them and guide them.
There are plenty of Doms who aren’t very extreme, who don’t need a twenty four seven thing, who can even date other Doms or Neutrals without losing their minds with frustration.
He thinks maybe that’s it, for awhile, and he mostly stays away from subs, because by and large, he can’t give them the harshness that they need. But fuck, he craves it, aches for that connection, for that rightness.
And then there’s Kira, who is a sweet little sub through and through, but who can’t find a Dom because they all want to be mean to her. She’s never even gotten into subspace because she gets that icky Red feeling when they start calling her names and using scary, angry voices.
And then she and Scott meet and they are both so happy and relieved. Kira is such a good sub for him, so sweet and soft and eager to please. I bet it would come as a surprise to both of them when she’s such a little painslut, but as long as she’s also getting petted and praised she loves getting spanked hard, loves having her nipples tortured with the meanest clamps they can find.
Scott is just as surprised when he loves it too. Maybe the difference is that even their most intense, punishing scenes are giggly, happy affairs. If she is a slut then she is his beautiful, treasured slut and there’s no play at punishment, no pretending that he’s unhappy with her or anything other than over the moon to have found her. Sometimes the pain is so intense that there are tears, even sobs, but they are interspersed with giddy laughter and pleas for more.
But, in true Scira form, their favorite thing to do is be adorable and fall all over each other in total adoration.
Scott saves up until he can buy her the prettiest, comfiest looking collar he can find. It is actually pretty tacky but if you try to tell Scott that Kira will end you, and if you try to take it from her neck you will lose that hand. It is really soft and comfortable, though.
Kira loves to kneel for him when they’re out because it makes it blatantly obvious that she is his sub, and it makes him look like a good Dom, which he is and she is of the opinion that everyone should know it. (and Scott decides to make it a rule that she can only do that when there’s pillows for her poor little knees.)
He is constantly petting her hair, and sometimes it makes Kira so relaxed and sleepy that she falls asleep right there, with her head on his shoulder or in his lap.
On the rare occasion they muster up the will power to separate for a few hours, Scott never stops gushing about Kira and Kira always texts him telling him what she’s doing and who she’s with and asking for permission before she does anything they haven’t already talked about. It’s not even a rule, she just does it automatically.
Fuck, I might have to write an actual fic about this.
