I shouldn’t go and look for news of The Dark Tower movie because it makes me anxious x.x I thought I would be happy with whatever they’d give me but reading ‘so and so is rumored to play the female lead of Tirana’ makes my belly clench because… there… is… no character called Tirana in the books? Like… we have Susannah that is part of his group and therefore the female lead? Like… like… Susannaaaaahhhhhhhh?

and don’t get me started on the ‘the movie starts in the middle rather than the beginning of the book series’

I’ll just not read anything and be blissfully ignorant of everything other than Idris Elba as Roland. Everything else will just come as it’ll come. fretting won’t help lol

Edit: actually I gotta say I read the books when I was a teenager and am now in the process of re-reading them. So it can be that there will be a character called Tirana in the three last books. But she can never have been something so majorly important because I would’ve at least kind of remembered.
