hhhhhhhhh that’s an awesome idea. has to somehow get back to his big brother so he’ll get rid of the hooks and lines for him. having to be v stealthy so sharks won’t get attracted by the blood

I actually did imagine the scars coming from nets or an unfortunate run it with fishing lines. Perhaps for a while he was dragging broken fishing lines because he couldnt get the hooks out?? or maybe other merfolk?
