Ooohhh shit, son. Thanks for alerting me to the trailer!! So. My thoughts.
I wish they would make more than just one movie because the books are so chock full of content and it’s just not possible to fall in love with the characters as hard as you do with just one movie that somehow smashes all the concepts together.
It also breaks my heart that there will apparently be no Susannah or Eddie or Oy. However… I just love the thought of Idris Elba playing Roland so much that I really want to try and go open minded into the experience. He is just so badass, it makes me really giddy
