So I absolutely love autistic Hanzo, and the idea of the bracelet he wears in his casual skin being both a comfort object and something he stims with (twisting it around his wrist, counting the beads, lightly snapping it, ect). But another thing I just can’t get out of my mind is him with a comfort plushie given to him by a s/o. I just really want to abolish the idea that having one makes you any less strong, or makes you childish.

It’s a stuffed animal resembling an animal he associates with that person (say, a cow or horse for McCree, lion for Reinhardt, ect.), and it has a texture that he finds very soothing. It’s stuffed full of soft cotton, just enough to have a little give when he gives it tight squeezes for comfort. It also somewhat smells like the person he loves, which he finds incredibly soothing when he needs to calm down or just relax. Even more bonus points if it has one of those little sound buttons in it’s paw or hoof, which relays a sweet little message from his s/o back to him when he presses it.

He might not want others to know about it at first, believing that it’s something to be embarrassed by – but after a particularly bad, overwhelming day, he brings it with him to a meeting or any other public place, just to hold in his lap.

Nobody says anything bad about it, and he even gets a few comments on how cute it is. Satya looks at him and gives a small smile. She’s seen herself in Hanzo before – now she’s starting to understand.

Hanzo spends the rest of his free time that day relaxing with his partner and cuddling his comfort plush. Everything will be okay.
