SESTA/FOSTA are basically two bills still yet to be signed into law in the USA. Theyre disguised as anti trafficking bills (but theyre not really) and could result in a huge censorship of sexual content online under the guise of “stopping sex trafficking” and as you use Tumblr im not sure if your work would be affected. It holds the websites responsible for the content a singular person posts, so lots of sites are removing nsfw (Microsoft censoring speech, Google deleting nsfw off its drive)

Oh the delightful US :‘ ) for now I am rather unconcerned. I will have to take things as they come, but since I 90% traverse in written make-believe porn I am not too concerned that anything will change there.

Edit: since there was this post going around saying all porn would be deleted from google drive until someone found out it explicitly excludes written stuff

If you are routinely browsing tumblr on mobile: I have found that the dash they show on mobile is vastly different to the actual dash on any other device. Even though ‚good stuff first‘ is turned off I feel like they independently are running it anyway.

So if you have blogs that you are very fond of I would suggest checking them out manually because it could def be that they are posting delicious stuff but it is not showing up on your mobile dash.
