Has any of you who could already get their hands on Little Dragon Cafe an opinion for me?

I wonder whether I should get it… I’m a huuuge fan of Harvest Moon (esp Friends of Mineral Town) – is it a good Harvest Moon game or is the farming aspect too minuscule? How involved is that cooking feature?

So I bought the game and I have about 10 hours in it. This game is nothing at all like Harvest Moon or Story of Seasons. The cooking is a rhythm mini-game similar to like, Rock Band (but super easy).

The gameplay is extremely tedious early game, and the world opens very slowly. The game on Switch runs at 30fps (60fps on PS4) and stutters at time (especially in the forest area). The days also feel super short, about 10 minutes per day so it’s really hard to get stuff done.

However the game’s story and characters are highly enchanting. I adore the little dragon, and the staff in your cafe are great and fun.

There’s no romance options in the game either.

Overall, if you’re wanting a Harvest Moon type of game, this isn’t going to fill that void (at least I’ve found, as a fellow Harvest Moon fanatic). If you want a game for gameplay and mechanics, something relaxing and easy, this might do it for you? I like to play for an hour or so before bed. If you’re looking for story, that’s where the game shines. I love my boy Billy, and all the other characters too.

I’d put this game on a similar level of The Last Guardian, personally. Frustrating, but damn it all I’m gonna finish it because I love the little dragon (like I loved the owlcat in TLG) and I need to know what happens.

The Harvest Moon-esque game I’m really looking forward to is Farm Folks. The team on this is incredible, the art style is gorgeous, and overall it looks highly promising. Additionally, RE: Legend, and Graveyard Keeper are also great games.

I know the typical omega stuff is that when a heat rolls around they get high strung and desperate, but what about McCree being an omega that gets even lazier during his heat. He’s too lazy to get off the common room couch and he may or may not decide to even wear pants, it drives the alphas wild
