no kink – none – is grounds to feeling guilty. there are (1) harmless kinks and (2)kinks that are socially and ethically acceptable and there are (3) harmful kinks and (4) kinks that are socially and ethically unacceptable. none of them are grounds for feeling guilty, as long as those third and fourth groups are kept in your imagination where they are only for fantasizing and nothing else.

what you can do now is either a) just let it roll off of you. No skin off your nose. If you don’t engage in the conversation when your partner starts getting in on belittling certain kinks, they might lose steam/interest. b) tell your partner that it makes you uncomfortable how they talk about certain kinks because those kinks just happen to interest you.

you are both adults (I hope) so their response ideally should be that they acknowledge that and stop that particular behavior.

If they use this knowledge to make fun of you, I would seriously reconsider the partnership.

but that’s just my two cents on the whole matter, obviously. I realize I made it sound like there are no other options/I have the ultimate knowledge, which is both not true. it’s just how I would go about things
