Hello Cyber! I just wanted to ask as I cannot remember nor find it, was it you or Bonbo who wrote the 1st meeting of Lucio and Gabe at a club I think? Where Gabe laughed at him and made a diaper comment. Sorry for being vague! I wanted to share the full story to a friend of mine and wanted to start from the beginning. Thank you :)

hey! I think that was me; have a look into my Gabriel/Lucio tag, it should have every part; it’s just a bit jumbled

ay sup trans man here! the fetishization of trans people is a fine line sometimes but honestly? destroy the idea that incorporating trans people in smut is fetishistic. let trans people have fun having sex, and show it! i can’t speak for all trans people but i enjoy seeing fics of people like me doing something that i, for one, enjoy doing. the only advice i can give is to just make sure u’ve got the right terminology. avoid slurs, don’t write about what it’s like to be trans if (1/3)

ur not, try to use the proper language (i’ll admit it can be difficult bc for instance, some trans men are ok with using the word vagina or clit, others prefer using dick, etc) but if u think something may be amiss then try gender neutral words, etc. if u think ur doing something wrong, ask! ask for advice, be open to criticism, and let people be kinky and have fun as they please, regardless of their gender identity. in addition, unless the character identifies as cis, then (2/3)

stop using that as the default. (this is not in regards to u in particular cyber, rather a general thing.) having trans characters and then subsequently having them in sexual situations like u would any other cis character is not fetishistic. it’s realistic. trans people exist. and thus, i’ve cycled around to my first ask. uh,,, yeah, i think i’ve covered everything i wanted to get out? yeah. just thought i’d try to help in regards to the latest asks about this ya know? (3/3)

thanks for pitching in

Oh gosj that’s why i feel so awkward writing one of my fics. McCree ks trans and engages in sex and I’m just… worried itll seemed fetishizing, but asdfg

just go for it. honestly. chances are if you don’t want to fetishize something/be disrespectful about something, it will show in your writing.

people should just stop getting at everything remotely problematic with a fine tooth comb until creators are just terrified of even touching the subject with a ten foot pole. What have you achieved with your actions? You feel pseudo good because you got to show someone how very socially appropriate you are and how much you know about stuff; and you’re simultaneously making sure no content for the subject will be created. congratulations.
