Hi Cyber! I have a language/writing question rather than an OW question. Given that your first language is German, how did you become so very proficient in English? I’m asking because I’m studying both French and German, and although literal, everyday speech is fine for me, I find it hard to improve upon that. It feels like there’s a big jump from that to the native-like command that you have, which uses native-like turns of phase. Any advice would be much appreciated! :)

try to consume as much real spoken language as possible. Read not only fanfictions or books, but also try to find youtube videos that interest you/Twitch streamers. at least that’s how I did it.

I basically fell into learning it when my big brother started watching TV shows with their original sound and since I was hanging around in his room very often, I kinda learned it by proxy/simply had it in my ear for a long time.

well you go to the link of the comp and scroll down to the bottom. you make sure it is what you want to buy and put in the amount you want to spend on it (there will be a greyed out number in the box; you have to spend at least the amount that is shown there – or more if you want to. you have to manually put in a number though; the greyed out number is just the suggestion)

there will be a button on the following site where you can change whether you want to buy it via paypal or via credit card. both options will be discrete as far as people have told me.
