@milkcree was talking about Reaper’s curls and I’m here wondering how awesome it would be if Morrison had had the holy duty of shaving the sides for Gabriel’s undercut (because I’m sorry but that undercut is hot as hell wtf even).
… when they meet again later, it is one of the first things they tentatively take up again. It’s not like it was in earlier days. For one, Gabriel sits stiff as a board the whole time, obviously not comfortable with having someone in his back with a sharp instrument.
Jack just really enjoys grooming Gabriel and tries his darndest not to be a sappy idiot about it and do things like pet him or rub his face against the back of his head.
There’s one thing that remains a constant, though.
When 76 steps back and declares himself done, Reaper’ll murmur “Thanks, papi.”
