I def don’t like the ‘he wanted to become evil Reaps’ vibe but I dooo like the idea of him feeling the need to get a leg up to be more effective at his job. Maybe feeling like he’s trying to hold up a house of cards in the wind and feeling a bit inadequate. He already did it once with Jack and SEP, so trusting Moira to give him enhancements that will help him keep Blackwatch (and maybe Overeatch too) ahead of their enemies 100% seems like a Gabriel Reyes move.
