in my animalpeople AUs I usually see it as them having mostly human bodies with some animal features. so CowCree would have horns and a tail; maybe hoof-like caps around the tips of his fingers. PigRoadhog would have a little curly tail.

They have animal minds or very rudimentary intelligence… they can’t talk or anything.
