First Jack probably would think it’s some stupid joke or rumor designed to take the piss out of the (almost) universally feared Commander Reyes but at the same time he’d be insanely curious. Because come on who WOULDN’T want to imagine Gabriel’s amazing thighs curling around a pole, or the stretch of his shoulders and back as he reaches up to grab higher, or the glisten of sweat as he peels off article after article of clothing – but surely it’s just a joke, right?

Jack brings it up to Gabriel in casual conversation, “Haha get a load of what the recruits are saying about you THIS time” and Gabriel just as casually confirms it. “Oh, that? Yeah I did for a while back in college, surprised THAT’S all the recruits have to say at me, they must be getting desperate.” 

Jack’s brain straight up explodes in flabberghast and he spends the next three days in a haze. Gabriel finds that reaction pretty hilarious, and adorable. At the same time he also makes a mental note to strangle McCree for not knowing how to keep his fat mouth shut about what was SUPPOSED to be a birthday surprise.
