however, I don’t know if sexuality even has anything to do with the ability to write porn. I guess my advice is to try and stray from flowery language like explaining too much eye color/hair color/lip color whatever.
Don’t be afraid to be ‘gross’. there are body fluids involved and they have to go/be somewhere. So if they sweat, there’ll be sweat dropping down from noses or hair; if they give a blow job, there’ll be drooling of some kind. Don’t be afraid of sounds as well; there’ll be groaning and grunting and whatevs
-in that vein: one probably shouldn’t go overboard with ‘moan’. like work up to it. I don’t think a lot of people start moaning from just kissing or a hand on their thigh? I dunno. some are just naturally quiet and don’t want/need to make any sound at all, so there’s that as well
I guess what I’m saying is, if you want to write smut for smut sake and not to incorporate it into a meaningful plot, you should just make yourself aware of those ‘typical romantic sex scene tropes’ and try to stray from them
