(calendar anon) I couldn’t quite decide for myself when I was writing it, but it could be both? Like, it was a yearly thing in pre-fall Overwatch, and then when they get up and running again (and there are maybe redemption arcs for the sake of including Gabe), they think it’d be a great way to get people to remember that Overwatch WASN’T all bad. Except now there are so few of them, they have to do more doubling up, much to Mccree’s delight.
