For the Satyr!Gabe au, please consider: The first time they’re sent out on a mission together and Jack gets to see Gabe really kick ass, he almost gets his fool self killed cause he can’t stop watching Gabe. Gabe spends the entire trip back to base chewing him out for not focusing on the battle, and Jack just blurts out that he couldn’t focus on anything but Gabe’s ass the entire time. Not the most elegant way to confess, but it’s finally out there for them to do something about it.
