c’mon cyber, that drunk sex fic was definitely dubious consent. the way they were written sounded awfully unhealthy and that’s fine and all, but it can be interpreted poorly, and that’s why tags are needed. i’m sorry if this is rude.

I tagged it as drunksex. as you rightfully said, it can be ‘interpreted’. everything can be ‘interpreted’. if somebody was really finicky 90% of my stuff could be construed as non-con since there are very seldom to never the explicit verbal consent stated or given within them.

I know how I wrote them and for anything else (e.g. how it is interpreted) that’s, at the end of the day, not my problem. I hope nobody got triggered and I’m sorry if anybody was, but I’m wondering what the whole uproar with this one goddamn fic is. I’m pretty much very sure that I’ve written a ton of fics that are very similar in tone but have never garnered this much outrage/butthurt.

I think I am in general a very polite person when interacting with anonymous people in my inbox, and I feel like (at least I hope) that I have never made anybody feel ridiculed because of any kinks or questions they came into my askbox for.

However.

I am not here to mediate your internet experience. If you feel uncomfortable with the content on my page/if you feel I’m unfair/rude/whatever, please feel free to unfollow me. I am not mad or hurt because of it, I just feel it would be the logical progression.

I am not going to start tagging fics as something they are clearly not in my mind. 

and I have to also reiterate: these are written, they are not pictures. you have to make a conscious effort to peruse them. if you ever (not just with my fics. with any fics in general) start to feel uncomfortable/nauseous/triggered when reading it, immediately stop, close the tab, do something that makes you happy. but don’t keep reading it??? and hurt yourself????
