I just saw the “it’s annoying to have characters repeatedly ask for consent” anon, and I just want to say, “maybe for you, but not for me, and not for a number of people who’ve had their boundaries violated before.” For instance, the idea of (OW hero) asking repeatedly for consent, is a turn on, is sexy, because half the time we’re at least partially imagining we’re with them. Imagining safe intimacy is important. Fics that don’t have that aren’t bad either. Sometimes I want complete noncon.
