a lot of people are overly harsh and critical/not into lesbian ships (even lesbians themselves, or girls who like girls) and i don’t know why that is – i think it’s a bit fetish-y and sexualizing reationships between men, and i mean that honestly. it makes me feel guilty, because i am 100% only sexually and romantically interested in girls (regardless of genitalia – dick is hot, but only on girls) but fictional lesbian porn just doesn’t… do it for me.

pt. 2 of that; female characters in porn just… aren’t portrayed well. there’s no banter, hardly good, believable romance like there is for dudes – fandoms significantly lean towards men, and i think that’s a little… off.

yeah I definitely know what you mean. as I said, I realize that I am way more critical towards the female characters than I am towards the male and it bugs me myself, but I can’t make myself not do it for some reason.
