In response to that aesthetic post before, I’d reckon that torb would have just a standard prosthetic hand that he’d be able to attach instead of his giant claw hand. But then think of the multitude of other possibilities for it!
maybe it could also be that the mechanical arm is just kind of a sleeve where he puts his hand in and does stuff. or was it said/shown somewhere that his arm was sliced off? I can’t remember

if the comic was meant to be pre-recall, i think a good explanation (tho i’m definitely not complaining about hanzo’s new look) would probably be he’s hiding from his family? what’s extremely opposite of the hanzo they/we know? deviant, modern, straight-up hipster looking is exactly the opposite of how he was perceived in the clan, yeah? so i think, in all honesty, it’s a good plan. bonus: maybe his choices included doing something genji would like, seeing as he still thinks he’s dead (atm). idk
think it’s during the recall though. there’s somewhere a panel where we can see a screen with ‘recall: active’
