oh I don’t know much of the game yet unfortunately; all I know about it story-wise comes from the Jimquisition episode.
all in all the protagonist (called Doom Guy because apparently he has no official name) is silent and manages with just one visible arm and camera movement to show off his personality p well, which is to not give a fuck about what anybody says and kill all the demons he’s coming across in the best and slaughtering fashion he can think of.
Partway through are little nuggets of him being actually kinda hilarious/sweet, though… like that gif where he found an action figure of himself.
I’m not sure whether that was the little story/barb you were talking about, though
